Mdiha beach 1 km from the Culture Resort is unspoiled beach ideal for surfing. If you need to be bit more adventurous and socialize Weligama beach is the ideal place for surfing especially for beginners.

There are many surfing sites around the world but most places have one big threat that is sharks, but Weligama is totally safe.
